Open Mic Review – HaHa Cafe Comedy Club

4712 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, CA, 91601
(818) 508-4995

Days and Time: Everyday of the week, 5PM Sign Up 6:00PM start.

Environment:
You get to perform at an actual comedy club. No distractions a stage with a mic and sound system.

Audience:
There’s typically just comics watching and they typically leave after there sets so if you have a late set you might be performing for next to know one. Sometimes real people drop in or a comic will bring someone.

Productivity:
Overall there are usually people in the seats paying attention therefor as far as LA comedy goes I would say you can definitely feel productive after doing this mic.

Price:
$5 for five minutes $10 for ten minutes, you can even pay a monthly membership which entitles you to 5 minutes every day + you get to cut the line.

Overall:
Not a bad mic to test out material in a room made for comedy. If you are located in the Valley it might be good and convenience enough to attend however if you are located in Hollywood or West, I would just find a mic where you don’t need to pay any money.
