Run The Light With Lahna Turner

In this edition of Run the Light, we interview comedian Lahna Turner.

Ari: You have appeared on TV and performed your musical comedy all over the world, why did you want to start the perfect 10 podcast?
Lahna: We were excited at the idea of creating our own show that allows our fans to connect with us in a different way. I like The perfect 10 podcast because it is different than most other podcasts, its not just a simple interview but it is an adventure!

Ari: How did you come up with this idea?
Lahna: We wanted to do something that is always fun and full of surprises. The internet if overrun with redundancy. We try to do things with our guest that they have never done before. It’s challenging but it makes our show completely original.

Ari: Which episode have you had the most fun making so far?
Lahna: Pick just one?!?! I have so much fun producing this show it’s ridiculous. I guess (for the sake of this interview) the most fun was with Ari Mannis. 🙂

Ari: What advice would you give someone who wants to start a podcast?
Lahna: Go for it.

Ari: You run this podcast with your husband who is also a comedian, do you find the podcast has been a good marriage activity?
Lahna: My husband Ralphie May and I have worked closely together in all aspects of our lives. We consider ourselves lucky to be able to do what we love with the people we love. Not much is better than that.

Ari: If you could have anyone as a guest on the show, who would it be?
Lahna: Our show isn’t focused on trying to get the most famous person. We just want to bring our listeners interesting ear candy and make people laugh. But if I had to choose I’d like to interview Hitler. I bet he’d be a riot…

Ari: What do you guys have planned for the future of the podcast?
Lahna: World domination.
