We now have an advertising program where you can get paid for your content.

It works like this: For every approved stand-up related comedy article you will receive $30 via paypal.

We also use Google Adsense, every contributor can plugin their Adsense ID to their profile so that 50% of all Adsense ads displayed on their articles are their own… 50% goes back to the site to help pay for hosting costs and such. This means the more clicks your articles receive the more you will get paid for your content.

That being said we still approve every article posted to the site to make sure it is up to our standards and right for our audience. We accept interesting write ups, reviews, and news. All content should be unbiased and can not be negative towards anyone. All content submitted must be written for StandUpTalk.com and can not be submitted anywhere else.

Warning: Repeatedly clicking on your own ads or getting other people to do so will lead to a suspension of your advertising account by the friendly people at Google, this means you will not get paid for your work.
