is a stand up comedian located in Los Angeles, CA

Ahmed Bharoocha! He deserves the exclamation point. He is a very, very funny comedian. Ahmed’s comedy is clean poignant and definitely hilarious. He turns simple subjects into grand ideas and relays his point of view with spot on analogies and act outs. He seems to see a lot of the silliness in life that many people miss while meandering throughout the day.  I’ve seen Ahmed Bharoocha many times over the years, and one of my favorite things to watch is that he makes EVERYONE laugh. Undoubtedly Inspiring. Those are the first and only words that run through my mind any time I listen to a set by Jerrod Carmichael.  Standing at a backyard show in Santa Monica in January of this year I watched him leave an audience in tears.  With a huge smile on his face, Jerrod covers some heavy topics, yet seems to be having a simple conversation with the audience. His writing is methodical and precise, yet he delivers his material in such an honest free flowing way that it seems like should be one of…

“WHAT!?! He did not just fuckin’ say that. This dude is hilarious.” Those are the thoughts that pass through my mind over and over again as I listen to Diaz Mackie enrapture his unassuming audience.  And! He’s got a lisp which makes everything he says so very endearing. He may say that he “Hate’s Whitey,” but I still want to give him a hug. Diaz has class, style, and jokes for days. He is a pleasure to the ears. Diaz’s career began in Las Vegas in 2006 and he swiftly became a favorite on “the strip.” His brand of lovably…
